When Manny is finished with boxing, Chavit will get rid of all of Manny's leeches.

It won't happen 'coz when his money starts to drain,
His son Michael will begin making name in boxing,
And following the footsteps of his father would become a world champ soon.
Under his promoter Bob Arum 11,he'll amassed huge wealth like his dad,
Pop Manny will be his manager/trainer,so how can he end up broke? :D

Manny is a lot smarter than most of the people thinks.
He will NOT go broke like Tyson and most of the other boxers.

If i recall correctly, I believe that a few years ago, as part of his endorsement deal with san miguel beer, instead paying an outright large amount, created a "parachute" account that will pay him 5 million pesos a year for pretty much the rest of his life. It was an idea of danding, in anticipation of professional athletes' tendency to overspend and go broke.

while 5 million pesos a year is relatively small to what he makes nowadays, it will, at the very least assure him of never being poor ever again.

I don't think so, Manny has lots of investments to simply fade and end-up being broke. You see, before he fought Morales, he already has lot's of huge investments which is not exposed to media, what more after earning big time with his PPV fights. Manny is a smart guy, I believe he's just nice and not being rude but he's aware of those leeches. If he end-up being broke, that maybe due to gambling because he enjoys cockfighting but I still doubt that will ever happen.

There are things that Manny learns to respect and thats financial security......he tasted the harsh life of not having much growing up.......and now that he's living a grand life......he's gonna make sure that that will never happen to him and to his family......I just hope that he invest his money wisely as he goes along.......and to stop feeding the leeches around him but that will never happen.

If he ends up broke, he can only blame himself. He will regret it in the end. "Nasa huli ang pagsisisi". It is his problem if he ends up broke. He enjoys everything while he is on top of the world. There is no need for Paclanders to worry about it, let him enjoy the fruits of his hard labor at least he enjoys it. Many Filipinos were born broke and died broke, I think these are the people that we should worry about, they did not even enjoy or experience how it feels to have enough money to buy foods or things that they want. IMO

With the way he is signing contracts left and right, it won't be far-fetched if he'll really be broke one-day. A case in point, he hired VisionQuest to review all of his fight contracts with TopRank including the most recent one (the third fight with JMM), but he still signed the contract without consulting with them. Even TopRank is ignoring them, keeping VisionQuest out of the loop when they fianlly choose HBO to air the PPV.

My point is, why hire a professional company if Manny himself will ignore them?
