"it was a tough fight but I feel that I was dominating the fight...the referee has gambling problems...it was very irresponsible for the commission to put him as a referee knowing that he has a gambling problem...I was winning the fight...he was punching me hard, two to one, but I was winning the fight, I was dominating..." said Juan Manuel Lopez in the post-fight interview.

That was Juanma talking while he was still punch-drunk :biglaugh:

Very funny things come out of the mouths of boxers who are too proud to accept defeat. We hear things like "I was hurting him..", "his punches didn't hurt", "it wasn't me fighting out there" (then who was?)....

after watching the fight that was when he realized he was indeed talking while punch-drunk.. :lol:
