therefore, you better stay away from boxing world in which catch-weights are commonly and legally practice. you should better stay your home and watch tv dramas, i'm sure you will be happy for this because there is no catch-weights there.

you have a point here, but what matters? Title fights or marquee fights?

IMO, title fights do not matter anymore. Money does. 8)

im just asking on the delahoya fight... some say it was officially at 147lbs... but in the other it was really a catchweight between a middleweight and a lightweight...

that's true... a lot of great fight happens in catchweight... and pacquiao contributed 3 fights and in title fights that is...

People think catchweight is a new thing in boxing! SMH..... Henry Armstrong, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Oscar De La Hoya, Thomas Hearns, etc. all have fought in a catchweight fights.....

Floyd made this a big issue to fool casual boxing fans....im not surprised really with people who hates catchweight fights because they dont know anythin.......

'catchweight fights really help boxing in many ways..we were able to see great matches because of catchweights, matches we can only dream of...a match that really cant be done without catchweight because of size difference.'

im with you in catchweight but not in a title fight... exhibition, matchups problems or people wanting it...

but in a title fight... they should fought in full weight... else rules are being corrupted by officials especially promoters...
