I'm a 42 yo father of 2 wonderful girls. One 15 and one 7 ( who still likes to hold hands before sleeping ). The closest thing I enjoy "killing" is when I used to play counter-strike with my buddies ( til early- "effin" morning! ). :D

Hello Raid!

That's great! Roxas Blvd. is a great address. I'm partial to Breeze Residences that's located beside the Traders Hotel right across the CCP. Wow the view there's fantastic. :D

As for QC, there's

1. Sun in Welcome Rotonda - great for students, rentals, manila-fairview access (the araneta underpass is now in use, travel to edsa is in mere minutes! No more traffic! I used to get stuck in traffic there).

2. MPlace South Triangle - The old Danarra? Mother Ignacia cor Panay. Very near ABS-CBN, Quezon Ave MRT. If you're a party-guy, a lot of nice restos are just a few steps away. ;)

3. GRASS RESIDENCES - Beside SM North Edsa, Quezon City. Very Nice 5-star development. I also would love it here as there's a badminton court for residents. Nice, multiple pools too.

4. MEZZA I and II RESIDENCES - Beside SM Sta Mesa, Quezon City - SM Supermarket downstairs. SM Centerpoint just across the Aurora Blvd.

5. PRINCETON RESIDENCES - LRT 2 Gilmore Station, Aurora Blvd, New Manila, Quezon City

6. BLUE RESIDENCES - Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City Beside Ateneo De Manila - Turnover 1st Quarter 2014

Thank you for your opinion batang_pinoy. :)

Though there are reasons why many people prefer condos. Such as convenience, accessibility, amenities, etc. Some also invest in condos to have them rented out for profit. Not necessarily for self-occupancy. Some buy and sell when it has appreciated.

Condos are usually located very near people's place of work or study, so they save a lot of time, money and effort going to their daily destinations. Also for safety from a long travel at night, etc.

And some, when their use for the place has expired, sell their condos, often at a huge profit. Since they bought it at pre-selling.

I would also like to have a house with a yard too, but land prices at or near commercial areas are unrealistic for me. But someday, I do plan to buy a farm lot in Rizal, cavite or tagaytay. Somewhere a bit more rural, with fresh air, so I can relax there on weekends and holidays. But as I'm working now, I'm just not willing to commute a long way to and from work. Or even rent an apartment.

Condo payments now are structured in a way that you can afford them instead of renting out a place and making your landlord richer. ;)
