Manny's chin can withstand a hard hitter opponent. One example is the deadly stalker Antonio Margarito's power punch where he hits MP several haymaker shots but nothing happens to knock him down. :o

I think MP should be listed as one of the top ten boxer's in the modern era who has a great chin.

punches from a natural welter to a lightweight can be considered power punches...there's some truth on TS observation, Pac has been able to weather JMM's best punches and that would play to his advantage being the aggressor in throwing punches in bunches even just a few of them actually landed.

I agree with the TS. Look at all the punches Manny withstood with Cotto. I've never seen pacquiao buckle in any of those shots. However, the "perfect" shot can KD anyone down. Manny's knees momentarily buckled when he took that shot from Marquez 2 at the end of round 2. Let's hope Marquez stands toe-to-toe with Manny as he promised for their 4th fight. Let's go Manny!

i agree with you t.s, pac's gold chin has been tested thru time with 60 professional fights 400 rounds in boxing sure as hell it would make it solid, the secret on how he handle big punches is his strong foundation his humongous calves it can, planting his feet like a tree never gonna fall, i think pac is on the top 5 list of the most solid chin in pro boxing today.

Way off base....both those were BODY SHOTS....when Pacman was trying to cut weight, to make 108-lbs and 112-lbs.....

So the GRANITE CHIN mantra is still very much alive..... :D :)
