FLOYD MAYWEATHER RETURNING TO THE RING IN MAY, AND POSSIBLY SEPTEMBER

According to a source close to the information, undefeated pound-for-pound champion Floyd Mayweather will make his long-awaited return to the ring this May, on May 4th to be exact, during the coveted Cinco de Mayo weekend. Although an opponent has yet to be named, one would think that one of the frontrunners to land the assignment is interim WBC welterweight champion Robert Guerrero, who is coming off of an impressive, career-defining unanimous decision victory over former champion Andre Berto. Also in the mix is WBC jr. middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, who is also expected to fight again on May 4 and has consistently expressed his desire to face Mayweather on that date. It should be noted that just yesterday, it was Alvarez who suggested that Mayweather was looking to fight in February, which tells me he may be out of the loop, and the running, when it comes to Mayweather's next opponent.

so that if manny wins, mayweather won't be available as he is already scheduled to fight someone else.

nyahaha!

gayweather's move is too predictable.
everytime pacquiao has a fight, a new "story" will be headlined to catch attention away from pac fight

whats next?
announce his fight with canelo on cinco de mayo on the day of pac-marquez weigh-in?
offer truce to 50 cents and publicly challenge pacquiao in a fight?

Nothing fancy, here. Mayweather is simply trying to hitch a ride in Pacquiao's popularity. The noise he makes gets louder whenever Pacquiao fights, thus catching more attention. Since he has already booked Cuatro de Mayo (2013) and September (16, 2013 - Mexico's Independence Day) both dates of great signficance for Mexicans, this practically rules out THE FIGHT (Pacquiao) happening in the year 2013 and from ever happening at all. Mayweather just proclained THE FIGHT with Pacquiao as a flatliner (Dead). Any mention of Pacquiao by Mayweather is just to create more buzz for his fights in 2013 which in turn makes more $$$.
