yeah, i'd say his style is RJJ-ish too.

He reminds me of bruce lee. Any punch his Opponent throws he can counter it with speed and power. Well in boxing his style is very similar to rjj.

Agreed there, the way he moves when he's being conventional and throwing that left hook remind me a lot of young Oscar. They are also both natural left-handers that fight orthodox.

I'm tempted to say he reminds me of Roy Jones when he's getting a little wild trying to open his opponents up, but he does it in a way that is uniquely his own. Donaire is just himself, I've never seen people do the things he does, hopping and flying around the ring.

I agree. His style is unique. All his punches can have a devastating effect on his opponents. I was very skeptical once with Nonito, but now I believe in him ever since fighting Fernando Montiel. His timing is insane. I hope his chin is strong but I've yet to see it being tested.

i'll agree with a version of young Oscar Dela Hoya and a combination of Roy Jones Jr.
...more accurate.

He has his own style. But his style is influenced by many boxing greats before him

RJJ or even Sugar Ray Robinson... Sorry, I don't see any De La Hoya in him.. i gotta watch the old DLH fights again before i can make a judgement. Left uppercut reminds me of Finito, and his left hook is Arguello.

yeah, watch the fights when he was still so young at 130lbs... he got many opponents kd with that killer left hook, it was so precise and powerful counter-punch...
-and made that "Golden Boy" nick so popular then!
