This was the first time that I was super impressed by him.

It looks like he has taken his training much more seriously in the Pacquiao camp and was able to keep his composure under pressure against Lule. With his quick feet, solid technical base and serious, southpaw power, he has a bright future ahead of him.

The Penalosa Jr. victory is a welcome consolation for the Philippines.

I was an active follower of the Dodie boy's father fights. A polio victim boxer who gave my nod that despite of his handicap he won two division titles. Dodie boy jr might be a great champ someday.

It's amazing, if you see Dodie Boy Sr. walk, he still has a limp because of polio. But if you see him bounce like a boxer, couldn't tell anything was ever wrong with him.

His resume is like Regondeaux. 10 win with ten KOs. A good start for a very promising early champion.

Yeah Dodie Jr. has tons of potential..
that punching power.. u cant get that by just training in the gym.. its a gift..
if he can also add that superb technical skills and ring savvy of his uncle Gerry in his arsenal.. he will be a force to be reckoned with.

JUST STAY AWAY FROM DIRTY POLITICS AND GREEDY ANNOYING PASTORS.

Very impressive kid. My only concern though is that he holds his chin up, which makes it easy to hit.

I like this boxer... He can become a unified/multi-division champion someday I think...

OT: Can anyone share download links or YouTube links of his 10 fights? Thanks!

well skilled kid but some bolts on his defense are a little loose. he tends to stay on the rope a tad longer and his head movement is a bit slow. He'll pay dearly if faced with a puncher. These are the few weaknesses that will make a prospect fail in big fights. But I see this kid as the next pinoy star after Donaire. He has the pedigree and tactician mentors in Gerry and Dodie Boy.
