I believe this young core of the Milwaukee Bucks would be serious contenders 5 years from now, even earlier.

brandon knight-pg
Giannis antetokounmpo-sg/sf
Jabari parker-sf/pf
John henson-pf/c
Larry sanders-pf/c

4-5 of these guys remain intact until 2020, i believe we'd find the Milwaukee Bucks deep into the playoffs, conference semis, perhaps.

These guys learn how to defend as a team, they'd be very fun to watch.

Btw, i am betting my two balls for this.

Yeah, i am optimistic. Knight has improved a lot since last year, the greek freak is a very promising project, henson and sanders are very good interior defenders, and jabari parker-- this kid would be a superstar.

I highly doubt this..

Ray allen is a rare breed but the bucks are bunch of imbeciles on letting him go for payton..

Jabari parker is the next melo.. but i hope i'm wrong.. if he won't, a high market team will snatch him quick ala kareem

Bucks were never the same since the days of alcindor.. and i doubt if they will recover in this lifetime

Parker is 19, alphabet 20 and knight 23. 5 years from now, they will be in their primes. Both sanders and henson are serviceable centers that can protect the paint. This team's waterloo is the shooting guard spot. If they can get an upgrade for OJ mayo (preferably a 3 and D guy), i believe they crack the playoffs in less than 3 years.

People are deceived because knight has no name recognition, but make no mistake about it, he is a top tier point guard this year.

Melo has more range than parker, but parker i think is a better perimeter defender. But yeah, the similarities are there. When parker gets himself to meloesque status, all the bucks have to do is surround him with the right pieces. I believe parker is a player that can make his teammates better.

We shall see within 5 years time. I smell playoffs sooner than later for this young team.

I am excited with the Greek Freak...
When he matures, he'll be like Lebron James... :D

i was thinking about the bucks with Paul Mokeski Randy Breuer, Jack Sikma etc hence the thread. LOL

after Kareem, Sydney Moncrief, Paul Pressey and Marquez Johnson were their best player together with Ray Allen.

this team was like "ALSO A TEAM" in their entire existence in the NBA. their moment were only the Alcindor years.

are they any good this year?
