Duterte releases 'matrix' of politicians tagged in Marawi siege
ABS-CBN News
Posted at Sep 22 2017 10:35 PM | Updated as of Sep 23 2017 07:35 AM

"We have now a good picture of what happened in Marawi about the drugs. This is the matrix," Duterte told reporters during his visit in Marawi City.

“I've been telling you that there is a flood of drugs here. Marawi is one. Everyone there was producing shabu. How come the Maute brothers and the terrorists were able to stockpile so much armaments, bullets and ammunition? Saan nila kinuha yun? And three months, I said, we're still fighting,” he added.

` 'linsyak na matrix yaan, ang gulo ah...'' :mrgreen: ;;;

If drugs were 'flooding' in Marawi and everyone there were producing drugs, says dutardte,
- why were there no big time drug operations ever conducted there ?
- why were suspected drug lords not invited or arrested, if evidence warrants, or even neutralized ? -
- and why it seems that there's a diversion of the real cause of the Marawi debacle from a terrorist
attack emboldened by govt. timidity, to a drug war/uprising by or fuelled by drug lords ?

PH rejects independent probe, other UN states' propositions at rights review
ABS-CBN News
Posted at Sep 22 2017 07:08 PM | Updated as of Sep 23 2017 02:58 AM

MANILA (UPDATED) – The Philippines on Friday denied most propositions to improve its human rights situation during the United Nations’ (UN) Universal Periodic Review (UPR), including allowing an independent probe of alleged extrajudicial killings under its fierce campaign against illegal drugs.

During the 36th session of the UPR in Geneva, the Philippines welcomed only 103 recommendations out of the 257 it received, while taking note of the remaining 154.

However, the Philippines "accepts in principle" 99 of the 154 noted suggestions, according to Ambassador Evan Garcia.

He said the Duterte administration does not sanction extra-judicial killings and that it would not
condone police abuses.

The Philippines also rejected a recommendation to protect freedom of expression, according to the
Asia Forum for Human Rights and Development.

Manila claimed that those slain resisted arrest.

Chinese na konektado umano sa droga, niratrat sa Las Piñas
ABS-CBN News
Posted at Sep 27 2017 01:42 PM
