Good luck to Milan Melindo, hope he will be able to unify the belts ...

It should be interesting to watch the Japanese promotion

Melindo should KO,TKO or at the very least score Knockdowns and make it very convincing win otherwise here in Tokyo, they will do their normal hometown decision and there is nothing Melinda can do about that.
Hope he can pull it off without relying on Judges.

Tall order for Melindo, Taguchi has never been KO'ed before, not even by Naoya Inoue. But as long as the opponent is not as tough as Budler, maybe he can do the same as he did against Yaegashi. I'll go watch some fights by Taguchi and see what his style is like. Taguchi beat Florante Condes before, he lost to Naoya Inoue ...

Well, couldn't find any good fights of Taguchi. But this commentary is interesting, Taguchi by UD is his prediction. Commentator shares my same thoughts that Budler won the fight against Melindo, unofficially, Melindo getting the hometown decision. It looks like Taguchi is a faster guy in the likes of Estrada (who beat Melindo), but Melindo has the power. Anyway, I have no prediction, but hope the Pinoy wins of course.

Ths one goes for Melindo, who says it's hard to win in Japan:

It seems that The Ring title is also on the line... Good for Melindo... I hope he wins this one...

Taguchi seems to be a champion beater... Many ex-world champs under his resume...

Melindo for WBA/IBF/The Ring titles! A win will make him the top contender for the vacant lineal championship...
