Yup, Sultan vs Casimero was also a waste... the IBF is not the only world title available.

I agree! There's plenty of competitions in the Superflyweight Division, Top Rank should be able to find and set him up with other Fighters. A fight with another Mexican should generate enough interest and of course more purse money. Mexicans love their boxing and what better way to hype your popularity than fighting and beating a top notch Mexican Warrior. Estrada and Cuadras should be available by April or a little later; the WBA Jafai or WBO Inoue should be great as well. Like they said don't back pedal now, move on ahead! There's no honor and glory fighting your own countryman, and of course fight money will surely be less! Team Anjacas should be looking forward not backward!

Clear enough to understand
by those concerned people
who handle ancajas boxing future.

Hey Mr. Arum, we would love to see Estrada/Cuadras vs Anjacas in April or May time frame, how about making it a headline, venue LA area!

Mexican fight Mexicans.
Puerto Rican fight Puerto Rican.
Brits fight Brits.

So why not? Let's find out who is the best in the country.

Arum welcomes Ancajas vs Sultan - https://fightnews.com/philippine-update/13524

This means Arum thinks his new boy will beat Sultan; otherwise, he won't risk it. If Sultan wins by any chance, he can sign up Sultan too.

Sultan is powerful, but I think Ancajas will beat him with movement. Casimero was too overconfident that he didn't plan his strategy well against Sultan.

Might as well get it over with. Ancajas is right that Sultan deserves the title shot. Ancajas is not yet a megastar to give up his IBF belt like it was just a trinket.

I'm still hoping for Estrada/Cuadras vs Ancajas or better yet Inoue vs Ancajas!

I want them fighting champions from other countries...
But if the situation calls for them to fight, why not?
That's their livelihood...their job...to fight whoever is in front of them...

Well, looks like it is already set, a fight in June. Knowing ALA, they will accept the title fight, even if their fighter is not yet "ripe" ...

That sad to think, two potential pinoy

boxer will face in championship belt!

For me it's a nonsense fight.

Non-bankable pairing. I mean, Sultan

is not a household identity in abroad esp.

in USA.

Low gain but hi risk on Pretty

boy's side.

Think about it, sir Pacman & sir Jimenez!!
