Finally! I hope Arum won't interfere...

IMO, Matthysse has higher chance of winning... Pacquiao needs to survive 12 rounds and outpoint him in order to win...

By the way, do you think WBA will make a special belt as an award for the winner?

Unfortunately, it's not a real title. The real title is the WBA super version held by Thurman. Maybe one day, Thurman will call out Pacman.

The winner will eventually become the mandatory challenger for Thurman...

Yes, but Pacman close Thurman because he had a belt. He probably thought Matthysse was the WBA top champion. He should have chosen Garcia, IMHO.

That's weird, I'm sure he knows... Mikey Garcia? He just had a fight this month so negotiations would be difficult if July 15 is due date...

DSG is a better boxer, but Matthysse is more relevant now because he has a belt... And maybe Pacquiao really wants a WBA strap under his resume since he never had one...

It might not be free. Pacman won't care much, he gets paid what he wants by the Malaysians. Maybe the Middle East and China investors will now come back and won't be scared of a Top Rank lawsuit anymore, provided Pacman wins of course.

They should have held it in Philippines, even if it is Malaysian money, bigger gate.
