So ALA is not interested in the rematch... They're more interested with securing a big fight or a unification... They have until July to schedule a fight against Palicte or Nietes will be stripped of his WBO title...

Do you think it's a good idea to skip the rematch and go against top guys instead?

Palicte seems to be keen on a Nietes rematch... I hope he'll just target other weight class...

Nietes should target SSR, Yafai, Estrada or Chocolatito...

Agree! More honor and probably bigger purse!

He deserves big fights now, not lousy mandatory defenses against unheralded opponents like Palicte...

You mean like how Lennox avoided Vitali? Anyway, it's better that Nietes avoids Palicte, he won't gain anything in that fight... He already beat him...

malaki at malakas itong palicte sa 115 lbs.
mas matatag katawan nito kumpara kay ancajas.
ito maganda ilaban kay rungvisai.

Would like to see him at 118 and challenge Oubaali or Nery...

Rematch would be different..
Palicte is physically bigger and stronger than Nietes...
Kaya mas OK na kay Nietes to avoid him and face other champions...

I prefer that our world champs face non-Pinoys

Agree... Especially the elites... Pacquiao, Donaire and Nietes should only be targeting past or present world champs at this point...

The WBO insists the rematch...

If I'm Aldeguer, I would advice Nietes to vacate the title and target Yafai's title instead...

With that, Palicte would have a chance to fight for the vacated title against Ioka...

Aldeguer is in a bind alright. Nietes can vacate the title, but he is not sure if his team can negotiate with DAZN.

They can pay Palicte and Roy Jones step-aside money too, but there is nothing there for him. Well, Aldeguer better make it quick with DAZN, maybe the pay will be good enough to vacate the throne or even pay Palicte.

My mistake, DAZN should be Matchroom ...
