According to this article:
https://www.pressreader.com/philippines ... 2940170519

Roach: “Manny got hit a little too much hits, he got punished.”
I don’t want him to get hurt.”

Buboy: “I decide on what Manny will do now. He could rust given a long break.
He should fight again within the year.”

Although Manny said, he will not fight again this year.

I think Buboy is out of his mind!! :peace:

Who cares more?

Manny’s so called best friend or his Roach?

I'm sure both care for GrandPac's safety...

For Roach, who is more vocal about his concern about GrandPac's health, he's just trying to address it on public but also mentioned that he's not the one to decide when GrandPac should retire...
For Fernandez, who is closer to GrandPac, he knows that he can't decide when GrandPac should retire and as a friend and trainer should be responsible on how to condition him while still active...

I agree with Buboy Pac should fight again in November or December to seal the FOTD award and DSG is the best option then the Spence fight in April next year!

DSG is a very dangerous option for November after a 12-round war...

Unlike Coach Roach, Buboy doesn’t know exactly the feeling or the effect of being hit in the head and face. Roach knew it by firsthand experience and how he is suffering from it right now.
Buboy should just let Manny decide when to fight again.
IMHO, Buboy wanted to be considered a good boxing coach at Manny’s expense! :peace:

I care about Manny's health being one of his fan. One more fight, I hope it's Mayweather, and then Manny should retire and concentrate on his political career. F*ck what Buboy wants. Looking forward for his presidential run? :?: :?:

In the End, Manny will decide for himself when his Boxing Career is over.

In Most cases, most Legends do fight a few too many.

Even Ricky Hatton, who once could have claimed only losing to Manny and FLOYD came back and got beat by an average Joe

Roy Jones JR, once the MAN in boxing, lost to a lot of sub par boxers in the end

It would be interesting to hear Manny state what the End Goal is for his boxing career?

To Unify all the Welterweight belts?

Team Pacquiao will now try to protect him. At least PBC's welterweight division is very deep, so even if he fights the Garcias, it will still be a blockbuster. Probably in the early part of the year. If he does well, maybe Team Pacquiao will now consider the unification in July as well, same month Pacman fought Thurman. At least Pacman will be more ready than he will be in January.

In an interview, Pacman said just thinking about retiring makes him lonely. So I guess he will retire on his shield - i.e until he is stopped, or until Floyd finally rematches him.

Pacquiao will out-box either of the 2 Garcia's in an exciting fight.
