Pacman is the true GOAT of boxing!! Bar none!! You can combine the accomplishments of Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Henry Armstrong into one and its still not enough to match manny's resume. The only thing missing in pac's resume is..... he's not American.. if he's American, he would've been considered the boxing's true GOAT by American boxing analysts/journalists/fans, since the margarito win. They just can't accept the fact that the sport they created is not being dominated im terms of greatness by an American, but a 5.5 foot Filipino. Pac's greatness transcends boxing and that is why nobody can surpass his godly boxing status in a long while. At least not in our lifetime.. THE RING: SUGAR RAY ROBINSON VERSUS THE HALL OF FAME

As a professional, he annexed the middleweight championship a record five times, and that was after ruling the welterweight division between 1946 and 1950. His final career record was 174-19-6 (109 KOs) and that glorious career lasted an incredible 25 years. Not all of Robinson’s 201 fights came against great opponents. However, the original Sugar Ray threw down against 12 future Hall of Famers over 29 fights and went 21-7-1. If you’re looking for some perspective, Muhammad Ali took on eight Hall of Famers over 13 fights and went 10-3.

Looks like Pacquiao's gonna match SRR's 25 years of prizefighting but unlike SRR who at 40s lost 5 of his last 12 fights, Pac though losing 4 in last 12 fights (well, that included 2 dubious losses to Horn and Bradley) is still beating prime welters.

SRR went 21-7-1 vs. 12 fellow HOFers while Ali 10-3 over 8 HOFers. Pac is currently 13-4-1 over 10 possible HOFers. If you take a closer look at the losses, he only lost clearly to Morales and to a Hulking Marquez (you know what I mean), also to IV-ed Mayweather (you know what I mean) with an injured shoulder. The draw with Marquez was also controversial (the one judge scoring it 10-7 in Round 1 instead of 10-6 coz of 3 KDs). But still 13-4-1 is really impressive considering Pac is always the smaller guy.

Thurman a HoFer? AB has better chance at this point...

SRR is a huge 5'11.5 "welterweight. Compared to pac who is only 5'.5". Plus pac transcends boxing that's why he is a cut above the rest of ATG under him.

Spot on pre, Manny is in fact smaller than the late great Pernell Sweat Pea Whitaker. I think Pac is the smallest welterweight of all time.

Pac to date has beaten 22 world champs (former, current or future champs at diff. weights).
SRR has only defeated 16 world champs.

I personally don't have an all-time great list, so I can't really personally rank Manny's all-time standing.

It's what makes all sports even more exciting like in basketball and here in boxing........
Of course there's no absolute ATG list but only opinions from wannabes to experts who follow the game they love........

oo nga bro, kaso sa ngayon I feel I still have a lot to catch up on before I can truly appreciate the careers of some of the all-time greats who fought as far back as the 1930's, '40's et cetera...and so inevitably whatever list I come up with will just be biased towards the modern-day greats...

agree on the opinion angle regarding these lists, of course opinions that are more well-informed normally argue their case for themselves

beating crawford or spence at this time will put manny the consensus Fighter of the decade (2011-2020). he was the fighter of the decade last time (2001-2010). it will be an amazing feat that till take million years again to be duplicated

When Sugar Ray and Armstrong were fighting, there were only 8 world titles.
There were THOUSANDS of boxing gyms in the US.
Armatrong held 3 of the 8 titles one time.
And those were all lineal titles.
And he was robbed against Garcia at 160.
He defended the welter belt 17 times iirc.

Today you have several dozen titles.

Pac did not win an official title at 126.

and yet, even then, only pac managed to win 4 lineal titles from original 8 world titles
