Hay ang sarap balikan ng FIBA Spain

Croatia 81-78 RP in OT with Chan just missing a winning trey in regulation
Greece 82-70 RP but still a wire-to-wire finish
Argentina 85-81 RP. Did you see Norwood posterized Scola & Mata?
Puerto Rico 77-73 RP. Barea just waxed hot otherwise it’s a possible win
RP 81-79 Senegal. Krakken was a beast with 15 pts & 9 rebs.

We need to find a new naturalized player. Blatche is terrible. He just keeps staying outside and shooting treys. Also get rid of japeth, pogoy, ravena, and paul lee. Select players who have no fear such as cj perez, bolick, romeo, castro. Sayang ayaw na ni ranidel ocampo, you can always depend on ranidel if you need a basket. Anyway nakaka disappoint. This team sucks! grabe ang pagregress from the 2014 team

I was way too generous with initial loss prediction vs Italy.

Let me revise upcoming loss by Gilas over gold-medal favorite Serbia.

Serbia 121 - Gilas 58

Unless CYG will do a slow break strategy....the same strategy when 1978 host RP Team lost by a “respectable “ 20 points against eventual champion Yugoslavia bannered by Dragan Kikanovic, Drazen Dalipagic, Kresimir Cosic, Mirza Delibasic, Slavnic & Radovanovic.

BINGO!

FOLKS, DISBAND PBA! (FORGIVE MY OUTBURST, I SQUARELY BLAME SBP & PBA FOR THE EMBARRASSING DEBACLE OF GILAS PILIPINAS)

FILIPINO BALLERS DEFINITELY HAVE THE TALENT ALBEIT A LITTLE BIT DISADVANTAGE IN HEIGHT, BUT COMPENSATED IN SPEED.

ALTHOUGH PBA TEAM OWNERS WERE “WILLING” TO LEND THEIR MARQUEE PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM, THEIR PRIORITY #1 REMAINS TO PLAY FOR THEIR MOTHER TEAM IF SITUATION CALLS FOR IT.

THIS WORLD CUP TOURNAMENT I SHOULD SAY, IS THE DARKEST CHAPTER IN PHILIPPINE INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL COMPETITION. AFTER GETTING MASSACRED BY ITALY & SERBIA, THE BOYS MORAL IS AT ITS ALL-TIME LOW ENTERING ITS FINAL GAME AGAINST ANGOLA.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING MOVE AFTER THIS DISASTROUS AND WORST PERFORMANCE EVER BY THE NATIONAL TEAM:

-FIRE YENG GUIAO! (A POLITICAL CHOICE-NO ARGUMENT)

- FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, HIRE TAB BALDWIN!!! FILIPINO COACHES SIMPLY DO NOT HAVE THE TALENT TO STEER THE NATIONAL TEAM IN GETTING THE GOLD IN ASIAN GAMES OR ADVANCE TO NEXT ROUND IN WC . THIS IS A FACT. IT TAKES CLOSE TO A MIRACLE IN ORDER TO NOTCH A WC WIN. CASE IN POINT ON CHOT REYES.

-ALL PBA GOVERNORS SHALL SIGN A IRON-CLAD COMMITMENT, TO ALLOW ANY OF ITS PLAYERS TO PLAY FOR THE NATIONAL TEAM WHEN CALLED UPON AT ANY GIVEN TIME. IRRESPECTIVE WHETHER OR NOT THEIR TEAMS ARE IN A CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES, KNOCK-OUT GAMES, WHATEVER IS AT STAKE.

-NATIONAL “A-TEAM” (AIMING FOR AN OLYMPIC OR WC SLOT) SHALL MAINTAIN A DEDICATED ROSTER AND SHALL BE CONSTANTLY PLAYING GAMES IN USA OR EUROPE. THESE TUNE-UP GAMES SHALL COMMENCE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS PRIOR TO ANY FIBA-SANCTIONED ELIMINATION GAMES IN THE ASIA-OCEANIA REGION OR ASIAN GAMES FOR THAT MATTER.

-FORM A NATIONAL “B-TEAM”, CONSIDERED AS “FARM TEAM” THAT COMPETES IN SOUTHEAST ASIAN LEVEL. ANY OFF-FORMED “A-TEAM” PLAYER IS RELEGATED IN THIS TEAM. IN ADDITION, PROMISING PBA PLAYERS ARE ELEVATED TO THE “B-TEAM”. PBA OWNERS, AT ANY GIVEN TIME, CAN RECALL THEIR PLAYERS FROM THIS POOL. INJURED “A-TEAM” PLAYERS STATUS ARE CASE-TO-CASE BASIS IF HE IS RELEGATED OR JUST ALLOWED TO HEAL BECAUSE WE WANT TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FROM THE “B-TEAM” PLAYERS WHO ARE RIPE TO FILL-IN THE VACATED SLOT.

- ITS ABOUT TIME TO RETIRE ANDRAY BLATCHE. HE HAS DONE HIS MAGNIFICENT SERVICE.
HIRE A YOUNGER /ATHLETIC/TALL NBA TALENT.

IT IS EASY TO SAY ABOUT MY SUGGESTIONS BUT THESE SUGGESTIONS TRANSLATE TO REAL-DEAL SACRIFICE FROM PBA OWNERS, SBP AND PBA!!!

May element of surprise ata dyan, di nila tayo na scout dyan? Or na underestimate nila tayo...

Ngayon, we're back to reality :D

I feel your sentiments, but what to do yani? (common words or reaction here in Gulf countries pag wala ng magawa)…but anyway…

Tapos aasa kayo na mananalo sa WC??? comm'on man!

PBA and SBP need to come up with a good program for Gilas.

1. They can start by having shorter conferences.

2. Let Gilas play against top teams before actual competition. For example, China participated in the NBA Summer League. We can try that or against World Cup-bound teams.

3. Hire a coach with legit international experience.
