As far as I remember, pound for pound list means the rank of those fighters boxing ability agains his weight. If we put it in calculation, it like fighters caliber divided by it weight. So if we have a unit for a certain fighter. its like FIGHTERS CALIBER/WEIGHT. Like Manny. He maybe 126 lbs but his ability as a boxer is tremendous compare to other boxer with heavier weight. Of course if manny fight a bum heavyweight , manny will surely be in trouble but how about if manny is a heavyweight with that boxing ability? According to what I've read. Its like what do you think if ever RJJ and Pacman fight assuming they have the same weight. If you think RJJ win then he should be one notch higher than Manny. So, according to ring magazine. If ever Manny and Morales fight. Manny will win because he is ranks ahead of Morales.

Kidding aside, the P4P listing serves as the "Best of Boxing" irregardless of wieght classes. Eto na sila ang pinakamagagaling na boksidor across all weights.

We are very proud that Manny is included there, a tribute to Pinoy skill and stature. Kunsabagay, Manny is also the first Filipino, and maybe Asian, to earn a US$ 1M paycheck for a single bout. Andami nang sumikat na champions pero hindi naman lahat dyan ay nakapagdi-demand ng ganitong halaga. I doubt if JMM had even topped US$ 350K in any of his bouts.

I'd like to believe that these accolades have still not gotten into Manny's head. I'd still like to believe that Manny believes that he has yet to peak, and many more milestones are yet to be achieved, say, a unified title in a certain weight class, or maybe a belt in five different weight classes. Maybe, it will also be the first for an Asian. And lastly, I believe that barring any untoward incident, Manny will have an easy time disposing of JMM. After May 8, we'll be talking about Erik Morales, this one I'm praying to.

As of march, Pacman being at #6 is good for him IMO. Not too high to cause more complacency, and not too low to lose his million dollar purse.

If Manny destroys JMM the way he did against MAB, the littlest man among the list would be a definite top contender, moreso especially after he beat Morales this year! The stagnant RJJ won't be #1 for long IMO, unless he put his acts together. Pacman, ODLH, and Mayweather have a lot of promise this year.

Hoy GensanDestroyer,

This forum should not be ridiculed by posting bull---t commentaries... No offense Bai but you should be more careful using the english language... I'm not up for a wordwar here... This site is apolitical and we don't give a f--k if you're against GMA... Show a little respect man... I like you're city though when I had my vacation there last December (I stayed at Doña Soledad and happened to visit the PNP Regional Training Center & the Fishport)... Bai, magbisaya ka na lang kay damu sala imo nga grammar kon sige ka iningles... he he he... 'Most of woman' daw at 'They are changing HER mind ' daw... he he he BANAT PACQUIAO... BANAT!!!
