Guys i just want to get your opinion on how will Manny would fair w/ the newly crowned Jesus Chavez,he's already at 135 but he said he's willing to go down again at 130 to fight big names out there,IMO...Chavez would be a perfect match up for Manny,he's also a slugger,a tough Hombre who nver backdown to a fight, have u seen his fight w/ EM?he almost floored EM and give him a hard 12 round fight but one thing i've noticed...he's hittable, eating a lot of uppercut from EM but still manage to hang on...he's a perfect opponent for Manny at 130....

This is a good match-up, one more thing for sure....MAB will start calling Pacman's name if he beat Chavez but in due respect for the mexican fighter he's a true warrior and manny will have another great war for a great mexican fighter.

If Chavez fights Manny at 130 . . . that's going to be a Heluva fight . . . but I really doubt he'll go back down to 130 especially now that he has a 135 div belt.

I don't think Jesus "El Matador"Chavez will be going back to 130 lbs division, he will stay there and defend that belt.Maybe he wants to fight the best in that division, just like what he did in the Featherweight div EM etc..Pacquiao-Chavez fight is not possible because Pacman will be busy chasing Morales and Barrera.

Yeah. Chavez moving back down would only be because he wants to get his name out by trying (but probably failing) to beat one of the best.

I've always seen Chavez as the guy that was knocking on the door to greatness, but will probably never make it. He isn't a huge draw, but he is a respected figure.

That postfight talk was 100% right. Why would Manny waste his time fighting someone who just lost, in convincing manner, to someone who wasn't even on the radar? Is his loss to Morales really too much to bare? If Manny feels he has to do it to prove to himself that he can, I'm 100% behind him. But if he thinks its the biggest draw on the table right now, he is mistaken.

Wow, Steward predicts Morales / Pacquiao II will fall apart. He doesn't think it will be marketable anymore after Morales was so "disappointing" in his loss to Raheem.

Thanks for the link tootsuite!

Jesus has to step down.. coz Pac can't afford it at 135.. that's too much.. and if the fight happens, It's just like Pac vs MAB II happening here and expect bombs to rain.. (Chavez moves like MAB with less counter punching ability but willing to brawl more..)

The supporting question is.. will it be marketable as compared to PAC-EM or PAC-MAB?

It will be a great fight that has a potential of part 2. However, i don't know if its going to be as big of a draw as Morales vs. PAC.

If only he had a belt at 130 or if he's rating is higher than PAC.

and they were short in saying that Morales is a shot already, I guess Roach was right saying that the EM vs MP fight took a toll more from Morales than Manny.

   Brother DP . . . Chavez has proven his chin taking the best punches from much bigger fighters so I don't see the fight ending too soon if it ever happens. Yes it might be by stoppage but not until the later rounds.

Chavez may be serious in his pronouncement because he knows that big bucks are awaiting for him in 130 lbs. Adding more spices to a well taste menu is not bad. He wanted to be in the list of boxing elite, then let's welcome him. Boy, PACMAN is gonna be very busy and wealthy! Just remain humble PAC.

God is good all the time!

i think this would be an interesting match, however, Manny has to fight EM to secure a spotlight that he's the best in the superfeatherweight. EM's loss in the Lightweight division doesn't mean the end road for him. I think another loss at the SuperFeatherweight division will be his final nail to his coffin....Pacman can now look at either Barrera or Chavez or whoever is ready to face PACMAN....
Chavez is quite slow for me and questionable chin?? he was KO'd by EM before and PAcman never tasted the canvass against EM...
