The championship match between harbour centre and Toyota Otis last Saturday pitted UAAP team (LA salle/ Ateneo) and NCCA team (Letran) which was won by harbour starring joseph yeo and LA tenorio. yeo and tenorio delivered under heavy pressure that translated into a win specially yeo who shot seven 3-points shot during the game. Does this mean that UAAP players now a days are more superior than NCAA players? i welcome your violent reactions :-)

I don't think we can draw parallelism as to what is the more superior league with the outcome of the PBL finals. We need more facts to be able to come up with an analysis...

It is true that the UAAP is more popular league in the country. Period.

the prestigious schools in the country are in the uaap. that makes the uaap more popular. add to that the heated rivalry between dlsu and ateneo boosts its popularity more.

Last year the champs of the PBL were bannered by Rain or Shine represented by St Benilde.. does that mean NCAA was the dominant league last year? :D

Prestigious? Aside from La Salle and Ateneo who are ex NCAA teams, respectable is the more approriate term to describe UAAP schools.
